Develop the technical knowledge to make smarter, more sustainable textile dyeing and colour decisions across the fashion and apparel industry.

Textile dyeing is an essential process that influences the appearance, performance, quality, cost, and sustainability of fabrics. Whether you’re working in fashion, apparel, or textiles, understanding how fabrics are dyed supports better commercial, technical, and sustainability decision-making.

This course provides a practical introduction to textile dyeing processes, fibre coloration, dye classes, textile preparation, and quality assessment. You’ll learn how different fibres respond to dyes, how colour impacts production outcomes, and how to communicate more confidently with suppliers, manufacturers, and product teams.
